Jordan, armed with a Master’s in Business Administration with a marketing specialization from Southern Oregon University, embarked on a transformative journey to Denver six months ago, seeking a sunnier yet distinct experience reminiscent of Portland. Introduced to the world of events during college internships at hotels and venues, Jordan’s affinity for people and meticulous details steered them toward event management, where the pursuit of greater responsibility became the natural progression in their career. Now an integral part of Denver’s vibrant community, Jordan thrives in the dynamic intersection of personal and professional growth, contributing their skills to create memorable experiences at every event.

Event Sales Manager

Why do you like working in the event industry?
I like working in the event industry because it provides me with an environment that is detail-oriented, strategic, and allows for social interaction daily. I love that I have the opportunity to work with clients and colleagues on coordinating logistics and incorporating a degree of design into my daily tasks.
What is your favorite thing about Infinity Park Event Center?
My favorite thing about Infinity Park Event Center is the degree of collaboration that goes into every event. The event managers work hand-in-hand with each other even when it isn’t their event or client. There is direct communication that comes from the sales reps to the event managers and back up to the general manager. We all have a hand in what is being booked and executed each week.
What is your favorite holiday and why?
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I love the time of year in the fall including the colors and the cooler temperatures. I also look forward to it slightly more this year as I moved away from home and will be traveling back to spend Thanksgiving with my family. I have a small family, but Thanksgiving is a time where people can be more intentional and present with one another.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
I haven’t had a lot of opportunity to travel in the last few years due to graduating college, starting full time work, Covid, and then moving to Denver recently. However, I really enjoy going to new places where I can experience the culture and participate in different activities. I also can’t turn down a tropical vacation!
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my ability to get back into a career that I enjoy after everything the world has been through over the last few years. It felt like I had to start from the beginning again when the shut down happened and work my way back up. I don’t regret having to step back for a bit because it taught me so much more about the role I am in now. However, it feels good to be back!
Testimonials
“RK decided to host Base Camp, our annual all-employee meeting, at IPEC for the second year in a row due to our great experience with the venue. We had sophisticated audio/visual needs and IPEC’s staff was very helpful and responsive in ensuring that our visual and audio content worked without a hitch. The venue set-up and tear-down went smoothly and the entire production was a success. We’ll be back again!”

“Just a quick little note to say THANK YOU for helping us pull off a successful event on Saturday night. The client overachieved on his goals, both in terms of capacity and $$$! Infinity Park was the perfect choice for the Dining in the Dark Gala and helped to make those goals a reality…
Thank you all for the partnership and collaboration. I know we had some last-minute changes, but you handled them with grace and professionalism…”

It’s been wonderful to work with production team. Every step of set up. [They are] great at setting expectations and making sure there are no surprises. For events, that’s extremely important. There is a wow factor when you walk into the room, and you see the event space coming together.

“We decided to do a fight night event. To make a long story short, we exceeded all of our expectations. Our attendees were blown away by the ambiance. Thank heavens for the staff, because there’s no way I could make [it] happen. It was turnkey. Our president wanted to know everything that was going on. The one thing I didn’t let him see until that night was the surround video screen. This man is never speechless, and he was speechless.”

“They chose the venue because they’re a technically savvy company. Infinity Park has the 360 video wall, it was a match made in heaven. The way the audience can feel that emotion, that content, and it is surrounding you at all times, we wanted to audience to feel the magnitude of what the venue can bring to an event.”
