Colorado’s Throwdown Showdown talent competition hosted by the Infinity Park Event Center is a great way to discover and support local Colorado talent. This year’s competition will be a special summer evening event to be held on August 7, in the stadium at Infinity Park.

Acts in previous competitions have included singers, dancers, acrobats and magicians. In 2019 a local band Graham Good and the Painters took home first place.

This year’s competition includes Maurice Avatar, Matt Skellenger, as well as other musical acts, a comedian and various other individuals putting their unique talents on display.
The prize for this talent competition is a $10,000 check to the winner. The money can be used to help support their individual talent efforts, work on marketing and branding to help promote their act, or whatever other essentials the winner needs for the future.
In the past the event has been held in the Infinity Park Event Center’s ballroom and carried with it a ticket price to match the three-day event.
In 2021 the cost of attendance is free, and the event will be held over one day outdoors inside the state-of-the-art stadium.
Being outside will create a casual fan atmosphere which will include a bar, food trucks, and entertainment provided by DJ Trent during the break between the preliminary rounds and the finals.
We are excited to announce that fans are also allowed to bring a picnic for the event if they would like. We ask that you leave all alcoholic beverages and glass containers at home, though. Free parking is also available within a block of the stadium. Attendees should also bring a camp chair/ lawn chair for seating or blankets. Gates will open for fans at 3:30 pm with preliminary acts taking the stage shortly after. The final acts are expected to battle it out in an evening round where the winner will be determined.
