Glendale’s Infinity Park Event Center is a world-class event space, one widely known not just for its amenities, but also for its ability to craft meaningful and lasting experiences.
But brick and mortar are only part of the story at Infinity Park. The experienced and passionate staff members at IPEC are the real miracle workers — transforming clients’ visions into memories that last a lifetime.
As part of an ongoing series introducing the major players at the Infinity Park Event Center, I spent an afternoon catching up with Sales Consultant Kathleen Dresler, who grew up in nearby Parker, Colorado. Her years of hard work invested in the Infinity Park Event Center have been rewarded by several promotions during her tenure, most recently to Sales Consultant. Working in concert with dynamic team members she continues to grow, expanding her skills in the industry to deliver exceptional events at IPEC.
One thing about IPEC not enough people realize… is just how incredible our staff is. Everyone at Infinity Park works together. We make sure that every client has an unforgettable experience — from the first facility tour to event night.
If I had to pick a favorite feature at our facility… it would definitely be the amazing 360-degree surround screens in the ballroom. The screens help make every event memorable — no two are ever the same. I love hearing clients’ ideas during tours, and then seeing them come to life on the screen during their events. It’s always special.
Growing up I always wanted to be… a teacher. I even started college with a major in education, but ultimately changed to a degree path in communications.
That experience influences my role at IPEC… because I’ve always been communicative, always been a people person. Working at Infinity Park, in sales in particular, I really enjoy the interaction. I love meeting all the great clients and the opportunity for networking at our events.
Since I started working for the City of Glendale… so much has changed! Not many people know that I started as part-time stadium staff in 2007, working in the ticket booth on game days. It’s incredible to see all of the growth in Glendale, especially as a Colorado native myself. I take a lot of pride knowing how much Infinity Park and I have grown together — how far things have come and how much further they can go.
Outside of work, my passion is… travel. Whether it’s a weekend away in the mountains hiking, fishing, and camping, or a couple of weeks in Europe exploring all of the history and culture, I love to be outside!
